Paris China world-renowned company Huawei will set up Europe first 5G factory in France. The first phase will involve an investment of 200 million euros.
The announcement was made by Huawei Chairman Liang Hua at a news conference in Paris. He said 200 million euros would be invested in the first phase. The plant will create 500 jobs. 5G radio equipment will be manufactured in the factory.
Huawei has come under fire from the United States and its allies for its 5G technology. He is accused of using his spying equipment.
