ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan has taken notice of irregularities in appointments.
According to sources, it has been decided to dismiss the officers posted without the approval of the federal cabinet after August 18, 2016 and in this regard, Principal Secretary Muhammad Azam Khan has also written a letter to all the ministries on the directive of the Prime Minister.
The letter also sought details of appointments made without the approval of the federal cabinet after August 18, 2016 and a list of officers appointed with the approval of the ministers.
In addition, recruitment reports have been sought from all federal ministries and their subsidiaries by April 30.
The letter said that the Prime Minister has directed to present the recruitment report in the cabinet meeting on May 5.
The letter sent by the Secretary to the Prime Minister also referred to the decision of the Islamabad High Court and the Supreme Court.
